she danced her earring off

What a weekend that was!

Three glorious days with some of my oldest friends.

I'm laughing just thinking about our antics and will spare you any inside jokes from the weekend.

My friend Danielle and I got there late on Thursday night and had all of Friday to tour the city. That was the plan, however, we were incredibly tired from our drive and didn't wake up until 11 a.m. We finally got our act together and headed to the National Mall to take some pictures and enjoy the 50 degree weather.

When the rest of the girls joined us on Friday night, we headed to Spider Kelly's to have a low key night filled with douche bags and jersey shore wannabes. Our table was hit with some winners trying to pick up my friends and me. I was even called a valasa raptor by Pauly D's brother after I appeared uninterested in his pick-up lines. Oh boys!

On Saturday afternoon, we all headed to Georgetown, shopped around got a late lunch at Farmers & Fishers and enjoyed more 50 degree weather.

I'm aware I have iPhone issues and this proves it once more.
To end the weekend with a bang, we finally got all 6 of us ready and headed to a late dinner at Urbana in Dupont Circle and had a fabulous meal. From the wine to the meal to the dessert, it was all around a great night where we continued to dance at Lima Lounge and then the Park at 14. Both places were quite interesting to say the least but my newly single friend wanted to dance - so dance we did. All night long. My friend danced so much she lost her earring during her dance off with one of the members of the Far East Movement. I swear - he looked just like him!

The lost earring is what we heard about all the way from the club back to the apartment and for the next hour  because they "were her favorite earrings." And, I'm still getting texts that if anyone finds earrings like the one she  lost, she wants three pairs of them!

great end to a hilarious weekend
